Today, we are proud and somewhat emotional to announce that Azure is fully sold. This brings to conclusion sales at Sienna Mount Waverley, a project that commenced over 25 years ago, in 1995, when this former disused quarry site was purchased by the founder of the Chain Group, the late Mr Chaim “Harry” Chrapot.
Following the site’s purchase, an extensive engineering and landscaping endeavour commenced to prepare for the construction of 118 freestanding dwellings, of which less than a handful are yet to be completed.
The final homes at Sienna, all of which are sold, are due for completion at the end of 2021.
This is a true family endeavour, with construction being undertaken by Chain Group offshoot, Five Squared Property Group, lead by Phil Lewis, Harry’s son-in-law. Various other family members, including Chain Group director, Harry’s son, Jack Chrapot and some of Harry’s grandchildren, are actively involved in developing this project.
There are now over 100 families living at Sienna, a UDIA award winning development, located only 18 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD.
