The Chain Group of Companies are involved in a variety of forms of property development in Australia. Established in Melbourne in the late 1950s, under the guidance of the respected property industry figure, the late Mr Chaim “Harry” Chrapot, the various companies are managed by different interests within the Chrapot family - Harry Chrapot’s son Jack Chrapot and son-in-law Philip Lewis. A third generation of Chrapot and Lewis children have recently joined the property-focussed business to carry on the legacy left by their grandfather. The family began its involvement in property in 1959 and has established a proud record in property development and management in all parts of Melbourne metropolitan.

The policy is one of being “strictly hands-on” to provide the highest quality product and service. We are involved in both order and speculative building of residential, commercial, retail and industrial property and land development.
